Buying at Auction
Buyers should be aware when bidding live online that all bids are final
Before bidding the bidder should satisfy themselves that the item that they are bidding on is what they think it is. The Auctioneers are prepared to accept absentee bidding on the understanding that the intending purchasers leaving bids have viewed the lots or have satisfied themselves to the authenticity and condition of each lot.
Registration. All buyers must first register to bid via one of the following options. www.easyliveauction.com, www.iainmsmith.co.uk or in person direct with the office.
Condition Reports. We will give an honest opinion as to damage, authenticity or restoration of any lot. We can give no guarantees as the the above and would always recommend a personal viewing. If you cannot make it in person, please use the 'Ask the Question' Facility available from the Lot Number on the catalogue.
Buyers Premium. Shall be charged on the hammer price of each lot at 22% + VAT when paying the £3.00 registration fee. (Free registration via www.easyliveauction.com and www.iainmsmith.co.uk with incur an additional 3.60% Commission+VAT)
Bidding. Bids will be accepted prior to the lot being sold, in person at the office or live on-line. There is no in-room bidding at IMS Auctions.
Telephone Bids. Will be accepted via the office only to pre-registered bidders and are subject to availabilty.
